Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your UNIPIA account or specific personal data at any time. Submit the form below or email us directly.

What Will Be Deleted

• Account information (name, email, profile photo, university affiliation, date of birth, gender)
• All posts, comments, votes, and uploaded media (photos, videos, voice memos)
• Direct messages and chat history
• Location data and matching history
• Push notification tokens and device identifiers

What May Be Retained

• Anonymised analytics data (no personal identifiers)
• Financial/transaction records — retained up to 7 years as required by UK law
• Backup copies — purged within 90 days

How to Request Deletion

1. Submit the form below, or send an email to info@unipia.business with subject "Data Deletion Request".
2. Include your registered email address and (optional) a reason.
3. We will verify your identity within 3 working days.
4. Your account and personal data will be deleted within 30 days of verification.
5. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
